Hulk Hogan scouted by Reds and Yankees?

[edit]

...He didn't play organized sports in High School -- how could he have been scouted by TWO Major League franchises for a sport he didn't play in High School? There are quite a few articles regarding this online -- this should be edited to reflect this; added that 'Hulk Hogan' fabricated this story...along with many others.

(He is in the Florida Sports Hall of Fame...wrestling & little league baseball is mentioned, but no mention of his prowess or presence in organized baseball at either Saint Petersburg College or University of South Florida -- neither school has Hogan recorded as a member of their baseball programs. By virtue of this and the fact he didn't play organized sports in High School...he couldn't have been scouted by TWO Major League organizations.

Why is there no mention of his racist rant in part of the tapes gawker release in 2015? This is critically important and utterly baffling why it’s not included Ref

yeah, this whole article reads like Hogan paid someone to write it. On the quotes about Hogan people who absolutely hate him (Russo) we have singularly cherry picked the one nice word they said. But yeah, leaving out the racist rant (that got him deleted from the WWE, toy stores, etc) is particularly egregious. 75.118.14.101 (talk) 01:27, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hulk Hogan 2024 election

[edit]

I think we should consider adding more context about Hulk Hogan’s appearance at the 2024 RNC. It’s pretty relevant right now, and I’m mentioning it here, on the talk page, because I have some level of bias.

Also, there are a few interviews where, former governor of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura says that Hogan was the one who told Vince McMahon about Ventura wanting to unionize the WWE. I’m not great at digging up court records, but I found a couple of interviews where Ventura talks about it:

  • Timestamp 3:03 Title Match Wrestling Interview [1]
  • Timestamp 5:24 CNN Interview [2]
  • one example of an article by the Sportster that corroborates the existence of a lawsuit [3]

Even though this ties into current events, these claims aren’t new; it's just that Hogan’s RNC appearance and Ventura endorsing Harris-Walz on CNN yesterday (timestamp 5:48 [4]) have brought them back into the spotlight.

Adding this info could really help paint a fuller picture of Hogan, especially with all the recent media attention. If anyone can confirm Ventura’s claim that McMahon said under oath that Hogan outed Ventura’s union plans, I feel that would be a make sense as an addition to this article. In the new McMahon documentary on Netflix. Hogan himself acknowledges that he was the one who told McMahon Rezimodos (talk) 18:09, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I found a vintage photo I had taken of Hogan

[edit]

It has been many years since I have edited here, so I don't dare do much with the interface. However, I found a vintage photo of Hogan that I took in 1988 that shows him standing face on in classic yellow garb and seems to be unlike anything in the article at present. I uploaded it to Commons under the widest possible license. Best wishes, Xoloz (talk) Xoloz (talk) 16:10, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hulk Hogan's "Real American Beer"

[edit]

Should we add a mention of Hulk Hogan's "Real American Beer," which was launched in 2024? 98.123.38.211 (talk) 23:02, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nonsense content

[edit]

His father and mother have Italian roots but when this page starts to talk about Hulk Hogan roots, Italian is missing. You should add it cause the sentence isn’t very clear. It mentions Panamanian, French and Scottish roots and not Italian. At the same time it talks about his parents Italian roots. This is nonsense. Hulk Hogan’s Wikipedia Italian page is way more clear about his roots, it also mentions Cigliano (Vercelli), the town where his grandpa comes from. $El Vega01 (talk) 20:36, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
